Embracing Good Food - Thai Cuisine

Isn't it  just wonderful when you come across a restaurant or bar tucked along one of London's many scenic roads? Isn't it even more amazing when you dive into their lunchtime menu and pull out what one can only describe as a fabulous hidden treasure?

I have the pleasure of working within close vicinity of Chayada Thai, a South East Asian restaurant that offers an array of authentic Thai dishes that will appeal to even the pickiest of eaters.
My personal recommendations you ask? Well, a portion of Thai fishcakes for starters followed by a Pad Prik Gang prawn curry with coconut rice washed down with an icey coke is usually my go-to meal when I'm here (put it like this - the woman recites my order to me every time I walk in there.)

I can't quite put my finger on whether this is down to my predictable nature, or because I eat out way too much.

I know it may sound strange, but I sometimes suffer from some very strange food cravings whenever my mood is down (hey, symptoms are symptoms!) and I'm sad to say, this is one of those moments.

I believe I am going through a major transitional period in my life which will require a much more mature and equipped Jade to take over the reigns and complete the journey.

Although I can't really go into too much detail, what I can say is that next week, I will be off on a fabulous trip with two good friends of mine in order to unwind. By the time I come home, I expect to have some very exciting news in my email inbox. But until then, I have to wipe the frown away and carry on with my day (definitely didn't mean to rhyme there).

I hope you're having a better week than I am. So many amazing things have happened to me this last month, but sometimes it can take the smallest sad moment to completely crumble those memories. So however you are spending these beautiful sunny days, embrace the good people around you, embrace those wonderful moments we all experience and embrace the good things going on in your life.
